About Rajeev Institute of technology (RIT)

Established in 2008, Rajeev Institute of Technology offers 4 year engineering courses and has a total of 8 Academic Departments, 2 Post graduate and Interdisciplinary Programmes. It is reputed for the quality of its faculty and the outstanding calibre of students graduating from its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The institute has holistic approach towards education and training. We at RIT systematize professional manpower for tomorrow and future. In quest of this commitment, the management and faculty accept the responsibility to ensure ceaseless progress towards this objective. The Rajeev Educational Trust was started by people with noble thoughts, who aimed to bring quality education and to serve the society on a large scale. The Rajeev Institute of Technology has been Established by Dr. V. Rajeev a great visionary and philanthropist. posthumously, his dynamic and enterprising daughter Dr. Rachana Rajeev took up the reins of the Establishment.

Dr. Rachana Rajeev, the President, Dr. Ranjith Rajeev, the Vice President and Dr. B.N Rathna Rajeev, the Secretary of the Rajeev education trust. President's role is instrumental in initiating the new B.E courses such as Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) from the year 2022 and BE in Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology) from the year 2023. About the Departments

Electronics & Communication Engineering

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2008 with an initial intake of 60 and was enhanced to 120 in the year 2023 and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in the year of 2024. The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members and well-equipped laboratories to meet the quality education as per the university requirements and industry needs.

The Department has ISF (IETE Student Forum) through which various technical activities for students and faculties are conducted. Department also encourages and promotes students to participate in co-curricular activities. Department organizes workshops, seminars and internship programs through technical forum to enhance the students knowledge. The department offers an excellent academic environment with a team of highly qualified and dedicated faculties. Many faculty members are pursuing Ph.D. degree The department provides motivation to the students such that, the students can turnout to be globally competent. Innovative and continuous teaching learning process has been adopted which enhances the capabilities of both student and the staff. The department is facilitated with well-equipped classrooms and laboratories and provide ambient environment for learning process.

The Department has VTU recognized research centre. For the purpose of research activity, a separate laboratory has been established. It consists of LabVIEW software along with virtual hardware bundle consisting of myDAQ and MokuGO. It enables the researchers to simulate their ideologies and to obtain the results. The laboratory is identified as "Centre of Excellence" by TechFLUENT Solutions Private Limited, Hyderabad.

Faculty members have published research papers in peer reviewed journals and constantly attending faculty development programs as a part of technical up-gradation. The department hosts "ElectroRIT" (Department technical club) and "IETE Student Forum" (Student Technical Chapter), New Delhi, to conduct various activities. The department is actively organizing various events from industry experts to keep the students up-to-date with latest technologies. The department encourages students to participate in technical, sports and cultural activities. As a part of women empowerment program, female students are encouraged to attend industry oriented programs. The department ensures the all-round development of faculties and students.

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was started in the academic year 2008-2009. The Department offers an undergraduate program in the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering for which the student intake is currently 60. The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering is approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka. The department has well-qualified, passionate, dedicated faculty and has a well-connected alumni network. The department prepares professionals with the capacity to apply their knowledge, skills, attitudes, and the most recent technological developments to the solution of problems in our society.

The moto of Electrical and Electronics department is to be a catalyst in imparting quality education and conducting valued research for the benefit of society. Historically, the field of electrical engineering is one of the most important engineering disciplines that have changed the course of the world. The department strives to prepare its students to be independent and innovative. The environment of the department is conducive to academic growth of its faculty and students. The objective of department is to equip students with techniques to become providers of innovative and indigenous solutions.

The Department of Information Science & Engineering was established in 2008 and currently admits 60 students for its Undergraduate course. As an affiliated institute of Visvesvaraya Technological University in Belagavi, the department follows the university's curriculum, examination, and academic structure. The curriculum is designed to meet the current industrial requirements and is supported by state-of-the-art laboratories covering all major areas of Information Technology. The department is dedicated to providing precise, complete, and relevant information to modern society in all its practices. Its goal is to meet the growing demands of the market by providing high-quality services through well-skilled and highly qualified engineers. To facilitate students in gaining true knowledge, skills, and personality development, the department offers a standardized, well-managed, and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

The department provides excellent infrastructure for students to develop innovative applications. In collaboration with ARK Solutions, they receive industry-oriented Unity software training from the 5th to the 8th semester, enabling them to build Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality applications on campus. The department also offers in-house certification training on block chain and cyber security courses in association with CDAC. State-of-the-art infrastructure laboratories are available in the department, providing hands-on experience in various IT technologies. Additionally, the department has specialized Center of Excellence laboratories in the areas of Cyber Security, Block chain, and Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) was established in 2022- 2023 with an initial intake of 60 students. The department is dedicated to nurturing future-ready Al & ML professionals by providing a strong foundation in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging technologies. With a well-structured curriculum and state-of-the-art infrastructure, the department equips students with practical skills and industry-relevant knowledge to excel in the evolving job market. Our highly motivated faculty members focus on innovative teaching methodologies, fostering a research-driven learning environment that encourages experimentation, creativity, and problem-solving.

The department consistently strives to meet industry demands by producing skilled AI & ML engineers capable of tackling real-world challenges. Through collaborations, hands-on projects, and a strong academic framework, we aim to establish a centre of excellence in education and research, transforming students into competent professionals and responsible citizens.

Computer Science and Engineering

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is a force for innovation, scientific study and impact. It was established in the year 2008 with an intake of 60 students in the year of 2008-09, enhanced to 120 in the year 2014-15 and further enhanced to 180 from the year 2024-25. It also offers Masters of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering with an intake of 18 students. It has consistently fulfilled its role of producing Computer Engineers ready to meet the demand of the IT world. The department has always attracted the best of engineering aspirants from all over the country.

The department has a team of highly motivated faculty members, who are in the process of tuning the young minds to make them globally competitive. Innovative methods of teaching and learning process are adopted to achieve learning abilities through practice, exposure and motivation. The department has excellent computing faculties and provides a conducive environment to promote academic excellence. The faculty members of the department have published their technical papers in several National and International Conferences and also journals. Along with teaching, the department is actively involved in organizing various activities like faculty development programs, seminars, workshops, etc. The department aims to establish a center of excellence in education and research to facilitate the transformation of students into competent professionals, responsible citizens and human beings.

Scope of the Conference

The International Conference On Artificial Intelligence in Engineering Systems (ICAIES-2025) will be held at RIT, Hassan, Karnataka, India during 26-27th December 2025 with the technical support from Springer-LNEE, IJRER & AIP.

This conference is to provide an international forum for industry professionals and researchers to deliberate and state their research findings, discuss the latest advancements and explore the future directions in the emerging areas of Engineering and Technology. The conference also bring together both novice and experienced scientists and developers, to meet new colleagues, collect new ideas and establish new cooperation between research groups and provide a platform for researchers from academic and industry to present their original work and exchange ideas, information, techniques and applications in the field of Communication, Computing and Power Technologies.
